Sam Melville

 

Sam Melville, who played officer Mike Danko, was born in  Utah and  had artistic talent from boyhood, but transferred from art to drama in his third year at the University of Utah and then tried to storm Hollywood on graduation in 1962. It took him 10 years to do it.
